Same here. Everything was completed and my investigator said the process went very well but didn't get the call yet.
I have a job already, I work security at a hotel in the city and that was keeping me busy. My boss even texted someone who works for APD (manager used to be a DT) and said that I am ready to go for the next class. It's odd that I didn't get a call yet even though my investigator said my process went through very well.
I GOT THE CALL!! i have to report to 1PP at 8:30am, business attire, $9 "oath of office" money order, NY ID, and black pen etc! Ladyloveella, you might get the call later today! I'm working that day as well at 4PM, should i take off that day?

Congratulations, u have to take off. Because u will start getting paid by the city from that day. The next day will be at the academy. Remember no cell phone even on that little break they will give you. Instructors are nice (u will see that at the end of the academy), for now they need to intimidate u guys.... Thank you! Wait, am I allowed to work another job while I am in the academy? How long am I staying there on Wednesday? I'm going there at 8:30am.
U are staying for almost 8 hours. Because there are a lot of paper to fill out (Insurance policy, retirement paper etc.... ) when all these are done they will ask u guys to get ID picture, note books etc... for the next day. U can work another job as long as it's a legitimate job and doesn't interfere with the academy.

Ohhhh I see! So I'm going to have to get a day off then. My job is legit, I work security at a hotel in the city. I guess I will keep that job until I graduate the academy because on the real job the schedules are different than my regular job. I work 4-12 at my current job and traffic will interfere with that so I will give my two weeks at my current workplace in December. I am definitely going early this Wednesday lol
