Offended? Makes me feel better? Nah man, you've got it all wrong. I was simply pointing out a ridiculous statement. There are plenty of wealthy folk who came from nothing. Enough so for me to make that post.

Yup, he grew up in the Bayview Houses in Canarsie, and the CEO of Goldman Sachs grew up in the Pink Houses in East NY.

Why not just raise taxes? Giuliani made me sick when he was mayor. Bloomberg makes me think I have ebola. Poor kids deserve to have playground equipment. Poor families are not disposable. There are too many elitists in New York now to elect a mayor with any compassion for the less fortunate. It's been all about the $$$$$$$$$$$$$ for New Yorkers ever since the 90s. We need a New Yorker as mayor, not a right-wing transplant. Us real New Yorkers voted for Ferrer.

And both are Jewish and non-ghetto types.

Soon, no poor man will be able to afford housing of any sort in NYC. White people drive up rents like hell, man...I know it is not their fault - it's the racial perceptions.

The last thing NYers need is a bleeding heart liberal as a mayor.
