What you have just said is:

First, you choose to remain IGNORANT; and, to believe the factless fantasies of your mind.

Second, you choose to DISPRECT the effort I made to EDUCATE you; and to assuage your immature whinnings! Appalling!

Third, consequently, I'm out! I will leave you to live your life and circumstance in ignorance. I love it when stupid people choose their own stupidity.

Fourth, I have no incentive to read your comments further.

I'll say it again, poor people are poor, because they choose NOT to be!! They choose ignorance over fact. Belief over knowledge. They choose the advice of other poor and stupid people, rather than seek the advice of the not poor and intelligent.

I mean you are the one who has suffered, and you are the one who NEEDS the "stability" of rent stabilized affordable housing, NOT ME!

I tried to REASON with you; but, as people of your ilk most often do, you choose UNREASONABLENESS!

Good luck with that....

I'm wondering if it's possible for you to write a post without CAPS or excessive exclamation marks.

I worry for your blood pressure levels.

Wow, I just saw all of these replies. The ignorance on this thread cracks me up. It really does. I am the OP and am in no way adversarial or ignorant. jcoltrane, I don't appreciate your condescending tone. I actually did a lot of research, and although you think you know differently, the rider is not enforceable, and in fact, the original lease does mention far lower fees. Perhaps you shouldn't assume so much.

I chose not to sign the rider and sent back the lease after I made a copy. For those wondering, I found out that no riders sent along with a rent stabilized lease renewal are enforceable. Anything on the RTP-8 is, but that's it.

For the record, I've also found out about other illegal activities going on. Shady landlord, many scams. As usual.

Thank you very much to those of you who offered constructive responses!
