I recall a few months ago when Zabar's on the UWS was photographed with a rat on the shelves, by a guy walking past the store at night with his camera. Everyone went into a frenzy. However, I'm almost certain that one week or so after the histeria died down, it was business as usual. I'm sure that, even during all of the controversy, the faithful masses were STILL eating at Zabars.
In the village there are to many establishments ib these railroad style buildibgs which perpetuate vermin. These buildings are too old and makes it easy for pest to enter.
Rodents can spread disease and are a major health hazard. I never went to Magnolia but sure as hell wouldn't now. Ugh.
