Well maybe you will be happier when we get the no-platform Bill "vote for me at least I'm not Bloomberg" Thompson next year. You'll be begging to have Bloomberg back.

Your illogical hate for this man blinds you to alot of what he has done for this city. Is he perfect? Nope..who is? Does he always say the right thing? Nope..who does? Has he done more positives than negatives for this city. YUP..how many mayors can we say that about? If you want to talk about elected officials who sometimes make dumb statements, the list is 100 pages long....if you want to talk about Mayors who have made significant positive improvements for the city, the list is just a handful, and Bloomberg is one of them.

Hate him all you want, but he has done far more good than harm, and he is 10x the mayor Bill "Vote for me at least I am not Bloomberg" Thompson ever would be, and 1000x the Mayor than all those self-defeatist losers who were too afraid to even run against Bloomberg.

really, I would have never of figured that one out, thanks for letting us in on it.

the micro units are worse than the tenements of the lower east side at the tun of the century, it is taking housing back in time...

I for one will be glad when he is done with his illegal third term, lets not forget about that.

and sobro, you know I say this with love,

No question but I don't think Thompson will win... He has generated some steam recently but there are a couple other stronger candidates that I think will ultimately edge thompson out...

At this point it will be whichever candidate panders the most to unions, regardless of economics or reality. Is that who we want as Mayor? Nope..but that's who we are getting.

The epic tax payer fleecing will begin the day after the new Mayor is sworn in, because there will be a long line of union honchos waiting for their payday.
