Is it possible? Maybe, I'll let the people debating on the rest of the thread figure that out. But the question is do you want to move to manhattan if it comes at the expense of living with some stranger on craigslist up in washington heights and no disposable income? If you are in an industry where you think your salary will grow significantly in a short period of time, maybe go for it. But how long are you going to want to live like that if it doesn't?
