What's more dangerous now? What was more dangerous from the 1970s to the early 1990s? There is a lot d good neighborhoods in brooklyn today. Not so much 20 to 40 years ago but today only brownsville and east New York are bad.
Thank you!

Only Brownsville and ENY are bad? Your knowledge of crime in Brooklyn is severely short sided. I dare you to walk around bedstuy with an iphone or ipad dangling in your hand and you see what will happen to you. Brooklyn has some dangerous areas in the city but Bronx has reputation for criminality. Both boroughs are equally malicious but both have come a long way from those turbulent decades of the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Even crime in the Bronx are at pre 1963 levels and parts of Brooklyn spruced up you never know those spots used to be dangerously hot a decade ago. Bronx cant shake its past off but BK can even though Brooklyn has Bville, ENY which are more dangerous than any Bronx neighborhood.

I guess it would depend on where in Bedstuy, but big parts of it have gentrified for awhile. Particularly along the G line (stations like Bedford/Nostrand Avenues). That part of Bedstuy has a lot of whites and asians in it. Even Nostrand Avenue on the A train has changed. Now further out by Utica Avenue is a lot more ghetto.

But beyond that, I too think ENY, Brownsville, Ocean Hill are worse than any Bronx neighborhood, because these days they concentrate those on government programs in those neighborhoods.

"There's a holdup in the Bronx, Brooklyn's broken out in fights. There's a traffic jam in Harlem that's backed up to Jackson Heights..."

From what I've seen, I would say that overall the Bronx may have more crime/more "hood" areas, than Brooklyn...but the worst hoods of Brooklyn are definitely worse than the worst hoods of the BX imo

All dangerous. Overrun with zombies, gangs, And mutant dogs. Wear Axe body spray-Seems to keep them at bay in those areas. Remember to pick up milk on the way home.

I used to live in Alphabet City. Even that has gentrified.

Now, my grandparents lived in ENY at 309 Atkins Ave, near Pitkin. That's still awful.

Yeah I forgot about bed stuy. I haven't been there in a while since I moved. But bed stuy has gotten a lot better. Used to get like 100 plus murders a year back in the day. I'm pretty sure brooklyn used to have more robberies but bronx had more murders. Haven't seen the numbers to say that for sure so excuse me if I'm wrong.

The very worst neighborhoods are in Brooklyn still no matter what some might tell you. On a whole the Bronx is worse, but still the whole Bronx is not as terrible as 90% of people in the city make it out to be. There are a decent amount of okay to very good neighborhoods in the Bronx.
