What a ridiculous question. Of course 70k is a great starting salary. Is this post for regular people or just a bunch of highbrow snobs?

Its all relative. 70k in Manhattan is probably 40-50k elsewhere. Thats why Im asking.

ANy income is a good income. You can still be unemployed like so many of the other Tom, Dick, and Harry college grads in the City.
