We're just moving to our apt in midtown east.
Anyone know if its okay to put our empty boxes on the curb or do you have to dispose of these some other way ?

I believe you need to break them down and either tie them with twine or put them in recycling bags. This is what I have always done with cardboard. Look on the Dept. of Sanitation website to be sure?
ALso if they are nice boxes still in decent condition after the move you can post on CL free boxes. People will come pick them up and take them off your hands since they now will have boxes for free to move with.
