we finally made it to the intrepid museum. what a nice place. sections were closed from sandy so we could not get close to the concord or space shuttle.
what an amazing history the carrier had. it managed to survive 3 huge kamakazee hits that killed 69 men.
i was really shocked how narrow the sub was.
i tried to use some old time processing on some photos to keep that look.

the area where they have galley display had an old area with lots of rusty character if that is the image you are talking about.
