Brooklyn is even worse. These dickheads in my neighborhood of crown heights go up and down the street like wannabe biker boys. If this is any indication of what the summer months will look like, I will start looking for a new apartment asap. Who wants to hear this? Just because it's hot out doesn't mean you get the right to be a nuisance to ANYONE. Wanna ride your cheap motorcycle, dirt bike, ATV, go to the Catskills.

The NYPD is NOT allowed to pursue bikers. if you do and cause an accident? Better have a good lawyer.

Refloating because a new incident has made the news. Based on the video below

GOPR2900 - YouTube

I wonder if they'll now allow the NYPD to go after them. Specifically, they need a unit, likely on motorcycles themselves, that can stay up with these idiots. I've been swarmed by them myself in the BX.

Funny how NYPD prefer to harass weed smokers who are smoking peacefully in the park rather than wannabe bikers who are REALLY disturbing the community

Low hanging fruit. Going after the people who actually pose a danger to society is too much work.

The cops obviously don't care about this. It's up to the citizens to get organized and defend themselves, and put some heat on city hall. This madness must stop. We live in New York, not Mad Max.

One of those bikers died from the SUV. I'm sorry but I have no symphony for those people.

Hoodlums on motorbikes or the 'classical' motorbike gang with beards and leather ? If it's the former, I've seen a spike in recent weeks and it seems to be increasing. Most of my sightings are around the Jackie Robinson Parkway periphery, Eastern-Bushwick, Cypress Hills, Ocean Hill, City Line, ect. They are either on sport bikes, dirt bikes and 4 wheelers and it's usually loud, doing wheelies, driving on sidewalks, driving fast, crossing the red light and obstructing traffic.

He died? I thought he was paralyzed and in bad shape, but I hadn't read that he died.
