New York spends lots of money to attract tourists. What do you think they were doing when they do things like build a new Barclay's stadium, a new Citi field, a new Yankee's Stadium, a new convention center near LaGuardia, a casino in Ozone Park, restoration of Coney Island, cleaning up Times Square, all the press Brooklyn gets, investment in the Rockaways, promotions of the film studios in LIC,etc? This is not strictly for people who live here, much of this is for tourist purposes.

Weekends. MTA - CityTicket And, you still have to pay the $5 airtrain fee.
Can be as much as $14.50 MTA - Airtrain JFK: Make the Connection
NYPenn to Newark total is $12.50: New Jersey Transit

If anybody has the time, compare time & cost from Penn at sample times of the week (weekend/weekday peak/offpeak). I'm pretty sure JFK is usually faster and cheaper (as low as $9 including airtrain) but I'm too lazy to look up all the routes and fares right now

Happy Hour's over! Get back to work!
Anyway, back on topic, I would have preferred the Willets Point Airtrain via LIRR.

I would think the relatively new Q70 LTD bus would be the best option now.

Taking the bus from laguardia to the N train is a pain when income up from Florida. Idk if east elmhurst has good parking but I'm starting to think that driving my car And parking it in queens is my better option.
