Truth is he hasn't done much as a politician. I wonder what mojo he used to convince wife to stand up and speak on his behalf after new revelations. People of Queens and rest of New York City can't be proud of him.

She's too deep in the run for mayor to cause a disruption. She can get a whole lot better divorce settlement if he's mayor rather than unemployed.
I don't really give a crap about the ethics or whatever of what he did, I just don't see how I can support someone who is dumb enough to keep doing something politically compromising after it's already cost him a seat in the House. He should have had the discipline and common sense to stop with that stuff after it bit him the first time.

Right--he talks big, he has a lot of views that I agree with, but his record is very thin.
I was pulling for Weiner. What a douche! How the he** did he think he could get away with it again? He no longer has my vote. Then for his wife to come out and support him again? She must have some political aspirations because that is just disgusting.
People make mistakes. And I can forgive a mistake. But he lied the first time.
Then he did this after he had to step down? He's too old to be making these kinds of mistakes. Repeatedly.
There's always the sad looking wife standing to the side...
If he does this in his private time and not on my dime, I don't really care. This is his private life and if this is how he wants to live it, just own up to it. His wife is the one who actually has to decide whether or not she wants to put up with it. People do this stuff everyday and I really don't care as long as he's not breaking laws and continuing to do his job. The problem is that this is taking away from his ability to do any kind of job. If that was my husband, my wrath would be unloaded on him big time and I'd be out the door. Maybe she just wants him to finally get a real job again so he can pay his bills and possibly his future child support.
Weiner is a freak. Either that or his wife really sucks in bed, and I don't mean literally. I wonder if his horneyness will affect his job performance. Clinton was a freak but he got the job done and IMO he was the best president we had since FDR.
