not sure if it's customary but I got a survey call from the NYPD. it was really short and not in-depth at all. Just a deskjob cop doing what he's told I assumed
I showed this thread to guys in my Reserve unit, 6 of which work for the NYPD and they have never heard of this. You should get out more often, and just go back to the precinct and give the cop your number, if he doesn't call there are over a million other guys in the city you can try to go out with.

What were you asked?

Thank you for showing this thread to your unit and getting their responses.
He has the number already but I'll definitely send a message to get a clearer picture to him.
luv, iirc the questions were if I was treated with courtesy and respect. This pertained to a police report I had to file in person at my local prct regarding a stolen credit card and how the thief went bezerk buying 2 supersized Metrocards. The call was like 1 minute from start to finish
ps the call was like 5-6 weeks after the crime. Who knows maybe they choose the nicey nicey cases where there was no "tension" to report that the public likes the NYPD. Who knows
