The driver goes overboard but the rider was being an ass. Two asses does a video make.

The rider moves into the middle of the street when he should have moved to the side and the driver was giving a warning hoot. Then they both just can't seem to let things go.

As a Jew the guy in the minivan should be ashamed of himself.

Reprehensible!

Now if the bicyclist didn't have the camera rolling you know they would have lied to the media. Probably even putting a dent in their own car saying he did it.

Thank God the PR driver was there to rescue him, no telling what may have happened.

I remember years ago I used to get nasty looks when I rode my bike through Williamsburg to get to work in Manhattan. There was certain areas I would just ride on the sidewalk, it was very early morning so no one was hardly out and normally I would ride in the street. This was way before riding on the sidewalk became a issue. This store owner used to stop what he was doing to watch me every morning.

I had read somewhere that a big part of the opposition to bike lanes by the Hasidim are the clothes worn by the bicyclists, which they interpret as immodest.

That's pretty wild.

Truthfully it isn't representative of Hasidic Jews in that neighborhood.

I'm not Hasidic or Jewish at all, just stating my experience in that neighborhood which I frequent a lot.

99.99% of Hasidic Jews are very polite and cordial. Which is in line with every other ethnic/racial group.

Cheers.

I've heard that too. In my case I was completely covered, no booty shorts or anything like that. Maybe he just didn't like a black female riding through or the fact that I was bent over to hold onto the handle bars idk.
