Question here. I live off Broadway in Riverdale, which is the Manhattan equivalent of 9th Avenue or 10th Avenue( because 9th Ave and 10th Ave's are right off Broadway at the top of Inwood at the bridge)

If i walked all the way east from Van Cortlandt Park South and Broadway into Gun Hill Rd until I hit Webster Avenue, would this be the same distance as walking in Manhattan say from W 42nd street and 9th/10th Avenues all the way to E 42nd street and 1st Avenue (because Webster Ave goes into Melrose Ave into Willis Ave which at that point is at 1st Avenue in Manhattan)?
