Philly cause it's cheaper and a bit warmer than NYC, but you still get the big East Coast city experience, and job market's a bit less competitive with many well-paying opportunities to be had. I don't drive, also, so there you go.
Berlin because my skills are in demand in Germany and my husband gets EU citizenship as a first-gen American.
LA because I love summer and honestly love those years like last year when we have no winter. Also: the beaches, different but equally interesting opportunities to use my skills, and I have family there.
Runners-up: Atlanta (weather, tech industry, great transit for its size), New Orleans (lots of friends are there), or Costa Rica (opportunities to do business, affordable, weather).
Budapest, Hungary. For some reason it feels similar to NYC.
Ljubljana, Slovenia. Cause its so small a country.
Montreal, Canada. Cause its like Europe but not really.
Sarajevo, Bosnia. Cause it has so much heart.
