Looking for some nice cafes where I can pop open my laptop and get some work done for a few hours. What are the best spots in manhattan...all parts doesn't matter..

If you are going to be there for hours, why not just go to the public libraries in Manhattan, or the
Barnes and Noble store in union square.

I would look into the NYC privately owned public spaces. Some of them are considered atriums. I don't have a specific one to recommend, and I don't know if they would have outlets for the laptop, but some of the spaces are quite beautiful. Here is a map -- click on any red indicator and then click on the address, and you will see one photo of each space.
