Is water that expensive in NYC? Do you have to pay more for apartments with working showers? Has soap become a rare item?
As soon as the weather heats up the stench from the unwashed in the subway is enough to make you vomit. Is there some cultural issue that makes so many forego a daily bath?
This doesnt seem to be a problem on the LIRR or Metro North. Why is that?
Do you have nothing else to but to troll on these boards and complain about the evil colored (and presumably stinky) colored folks. Be sure to stay out of Germany, Denmark, Finland, Austria,France and all of Europe, cuz if you think the L train is bad...wait until you get a sniff of Europeans. There is nothing more unwashed than 10,000 European tourists in Times Square.
Here's a solution, stay on the LIRR and Metro-North and you won't have a problem.
Why do you always toss the race card in every discussion? I said nothing about skin color. I guess you are assuming only white people take the LIRR or MetroNorth.
Stop denying that many people in this city dont bathe as frequently as they should. Get on those subways and try to take a deep breath...you will gag.
In all fairness people who ride the subway probably walk/bike to it whereas people riding commuter trains likely drive. Exercise to the train= sweaty people.
