While no one can deny history, please remember ALL of history. It's a really big mistake to end up equating Marxism with tyranny, as if no other types of regimes have embarked on wholesle slaughter.
That lets too many others off the hook, from the Spanish conquistadores through the British and Belgian imperialists during their colonization of the world, the Nazis, of course, the genocides in Turkey(Armenians) and Rwanda, and lots of others I can't think of off the top of my head.
Sadly, the history of man's inhumanity to man is not limited by ideology.
I figured that a thinking person would chime in.
The facts are even worse than that, and ignorance regarding the deaths and brutalities that capitalism has brought about astonishes me.
I would bet the farm that the ones on this board praising Socialism/Marxism are the ones who have themselves and family members low wage jobs and feel stuck in their position.
Let's get one thing clear here, Socialism/Marxism requires underachievers to take from risk takers and go-getters. It's that simple. So I ask all the pro-socialist on this board...Why work hard to be successful if Lazy Larry will reap the rewards of YOUR hard work while Lazy Larry sits on his a$$?
What INCENTIVE is there to want to work hard and be successful if a go for nothing stranger steals a portion of it from you?
In order for Socialism/Marxism to work, there must be a steady flow of people to steal from.

You would be more wrong than you could possibly imagine !
History has demonstrated that the biggest consumers of the myths that perpetuate their own oppression are, in fact, working class and low wage earners. A conservative bunch, always striving to the next level.
I could point out here AGAIN that it is usually more convincing (if that is your aim) to focus on ideas rather than on discrediting those who (you think) make statements with which you do not agree. A tendency one way or another is probably the single most important thing I look at when talking to people for jobs, fellowships, etc.
Funny to see people still hiding beneath their desks, "red scare" and all, like those I saw in the old news films. I guess we can thank the good old American educational system for that.

That's what I said...it's the working class and low wage earners that support Socialism/Marxism. You will never hear business owners who put in the work to get where they are supporting Socialism/Marxism.

A true go getter has self-incentivization. It's all on the personal/immediate level. I work hard because I want to afford the lifestyle I'd like to live, to help provide for my family, have a great quality of life, and a sense of self-fulfillment. I feel good and proud putting in a day's work..what more do I need as an incentive?
People love to glorify the Lazy Larrys of the world, but do you honestly want to live like Lazy Larry? Do you actually think that Lazy Larry truly has it made? Having the government direct your every move?
And not all people that receive government assistance are necessarily Lazy Larrys. For example, there are working, middle classed people who cannot afford the burdensome medical care for their chronically ill child. They may be partially subsidized with Medicaid, and I have ZERO problem with that. Truly Lazy Larrys I don't shed a tear for, but I still believe they are in minority. My hard work helps me to have freedom and I am thankful to be employed and able to enjoy my lifestyle.
"Social equality", aka Marxism/Socialism/Progressivism, whatever you want to call it, is impossible to obtain. The utopia that you talk about will never be obtained. I don't take joy in other people's misery, but 99% of the time they've reached that misery via their own bad decisions. Thankfully we live in a country where anyone who works hard can make it.
As for your second part, yeah its called Marxism....stealing from those who work hard to give to those who don't. Pathetic.
well i guess you have to die and go to heaven,
if you are not going to hell, to live in a perfect
society then. until then, people will never
reach their highest consciousness in this
world, because too many people want to tear
each other down.
by the way, i don't study any of those isms and schisms.
any comparison you think is just a coincidence.

Wrong. The facts are the opposite.
Working-class people never support anything they feel might be socialist.
