There are a lot of Black american male, Latina female couples in this city. Don't know where you got that idea from. Don't see a lot of Latin Male, Black american female couples though.
Black male-"Nuyorican" female to be exact. Don't see too many other Hispanic female/ black male couples.

How do you know they are Nyorican? Btw, Puerto Rico doesn't have the largest percentage of Blacks in the Spanish Caribbean. Both Cuba and the Dominican Republic have more Blacks. Also, there are other Hispanic groups who have decent numbers of Blacks.
So again, it seems like people here are electing themselves representatives/spokespeople of various groups of people. Were you elected to speak for Puerto Ricans and other Hispanics? Or Black for that matter?
Can you distinguish Puerto Ricans by sight from all other Latino groups? Otherwise, I don't see how you can have that theory.
YO!! yall are really BLOWING MINES w/ these smart arse replys!!!! now all of a sudden new yorkers dont know how to identify the diffirent hispanic groups in their community anymore ?????? FOHHHH!
Am I wrong? I'm going with what I see everyday and what I grew up around. Can you prove otherwise?
I agree with you. You should be able to get an idea of someones country of origin by just looking at them, whether Latino, Asian or European. You won't be right every time, but should be able to pinpoint the region within a continent that one traces back to.

This is very true especially when walking around the Bronx, upper Manhattan and East Brooklyn. I rarely see Latin men with black women in this city. I know of some latin men with black women but the black women are from English speaking Caribbean and not AA.
I'll never understand who so many Black people assume that Puerto Ricans are somehow there friends. Most of Puerto Ricans I've met have display a rather strong prejudice toward Black people.

It only goes one way? I've seen Black people say some very nasty and cruel things to/about Latinos. Of course not everyone acts this way. Let's try to remember folks.
