UGHHH I woke up this morning and one of the Terro traps I put down had HUNDREDS of ants feeding in it and taking it back to their colony ( I assume)! It was disgusting and they seem to be coming from inside a wall!

I hope you took a photo and sent it to your landlord.
Your landlord is responsible for remedy, even if this was the first time that this has happened at the property. It can be annoying to have any sort of pest issue in your living space, so I can understand taking matters into your own hands, but I would do so only as an adjunct until a professional service can be dispatched.
For an ant issue that I had, not in the city, but another property, what worked well as a preventive measure is EcoSmart, which also remedies current infestations. Because of pets and children who enter the space and spend time at ground level, the solutions offered by exterminators were not acceptable because of risk of exposure to toxic chemicals. The key is to spray even if you do not see any ants as it will repel them from entering your space, but that would be when the ants have not taken up residence, as seems to be the case right now.
A contractor told me about the EcoSmart, not an exterminator, ironically. Now, I am not sure that it will work for all ant species, but it could help your situation until your landlord gets around to fulfilling their obligation to remedy the situation.

Amazingly I woke up this morning to NO ANTS!! KNOCK WOOD!
The Terro seems to have worked very well! Exactly like all the reviews stated, there was a swarm of them when I first put the traps down, but then nothing! They take the poison back to the "queen" and then they all die. The ants COMPLETELY ignored the Raid traps.
I am hoping that this is it, but either way the landlord will know about it.
Luckily, I don't plan on being in this condo much longer.
