They are whatever is more convenient.

All minorities can choose what race is beneficial to them. Whites.....too bad.

They look amazingly similar to the Shinnecock out on Long Island.

You really should not be that surprised. Years of war, smallpox, high alcoholism, and other human stresses on reservations have diminished pure-breed Native American population. It is good their cultural traditions live on even after Native Americans mixed with african-americans, hispanics, and caucasians. Nice pics.
