Do you have a Michael's near you? That's where I get mine. Supermarkets occasionally have them also.

Sometimes hardware stores sell them. In my long ago prior career iwas a sales rep for Bells Mason Jars, along with many other items, and supermarkets would normally stock them after the summer. Try the bigger supermarket chains. Small city stores would never carry them

Check local hardware stores. We always used to get them from there. I haven't seen them in supermarkets.

nothing I hate more than drinking out of a mason jar. Who started that trend, moonshiners?

Hipsters most likely. I never drink out of mine. They're for storing yeast and pickling.

Maybe. I know a "hipster" that was using them as glasses before it become popular (I see them in trendy resteraunts all the time now). His reason to use them was for simple practicality: they have lids so you can save what you're drinking or take it to go. I don't even think he went out to buy them since sauces and things from farmers markets already come in mason jars. They just got recycled into glasses.
