Also the projects between second and third avenues aren't bad, I walked through them to get to the subway faster, and they were perfectly fine

FP is bad too. It just doesn't get the same rep as NYCHA because they're Co-Ops.

Even the worst Mitchell Lama co-op is better than the best NYCHA. People having pride in something they own and run (if even quasi-own) always results in a better place to live.

Relative answer. It's tenfolds better than it was in the 80's. It will continue to improve once 2nd ave subway is done.

That "housing project" is Mitchell Lama Coops, Franklin Plaza and it is, as you might expect, quite okay.

You have a nice supermarket on First at 107th...Metropolitan.

I would not worry about it.
Lol I really wish posters would better inform themselves before assuming that if it looks like a project it's a project. Inform yourself before posting. If you are not sure about something, don't post. Anyway thanks Kefir.

A lot of times people come on here and say a building/complex is a NYCHA project without being sure it is. In their eyes it looks like the projects so it is but in reality it's a privately owned complex or a Michell Lama.
