I feel for you I really do but there is nothing wrong with 2 people sharing a 1bedroom. It's not an ideal situation but people have to make-do with what they have. I know a woman who raised 3 kids in a 1bedroom apt. They were seriously cramped...I'm talking a bunk-bed and a twin-bed in the living room. People do what they have to do.
My mom doesn't want to share a room with me anymore. I don't want my grandma to keep sleeping on a couch in the living room... My mom doesn't see the point in moving if we still going to share a room. But I told here I don't feel safe her. Just the other day, Some group of guys beat up this old man. And my neighbor keeps getting her vicious dog to chase me around the projects
It doesn't sound like your mother is caring for you and providing for you properly. Good luck and stay strong.
She's a good mom. She just don't believe that I'm scared to live here. She thinks it's just because we live in the projects. She doesn't see most things that happens in this area so she thinks that most thing I say is just a load of bull crap.
Has your mom tried applying for Section 8? There's housing buildings in decent areas. Would you be open to moving to the other boroughs if you were able to get something decent?
I thought you couldn't apply for section 8 anymore?? Well that's what my mom thinks becasue she said she would if she could.
