Searching on craigslist will give you just a slice of what is currently available in the market..not an average of the market. Maybe craigslist has a bunch of $2,500 2 bedroom luxury rentals...is that reflective of the average of the 2 bedroom rates? NO...

You are trying every wrong methodology to back into your preconceived opinion....that is the fastest way to make yourself feel better...but almost always the wrong answer. Keep believing whatever it is you want, but you are only convincing yourself.

First of all, I said I don't believe it/don't buy it. Never claimed I had hard stats on it. Do you? Perhaps a real estate expert on here who specializes in the area and can comment without an agenda can chime in.

I have zero problem admitting when I'm wrong. Unlike some people I know...

The hard stats were provided to you already, which stated $1,675 as the average rent. You are choosing to dismiss it...so I guess you can't admit when you are wrong.

PS- there is not a person in this world, not a company in existence, not an animal or insect on this planet without some sort of agenda (and that includes you), so I guess you are outta luck. Just believe whatever you want.

Those are not hard stats. That is the Times, which notoriously hypes up "nabes" throwing out a number.

And I meant an agenda on this particular subject. You really are that obtuse? That's gotta suck...

I am acute, and sometimes perpendicular depending on how much I've had to drink, but never obtuse.

I'm sure it's just gonna be lines of paint on the road. There are some streets in downtown brooklyn with bike lanes where you can't even physically bike and drive side by side.

Cooper near the underpass is like that actually, ever since they reopened it. Kind of makes me wonder why they narrowed down the street in the first place.

Over there they probably have enough space to put the bike lanes on the sidewalk. They need to find a way to keep cyclists off of myrtle. That's just the worst place for them to be.

Myrtle is way too narrow, even the buses have to pull over whenever a bus from the opposite direction is coming. I often see young couples bike riding down myrtle, most likely going to Forest Park. I would never ride a bike down that street.

Yeah, it's because the brooklyn-queens greenway route from Coney Island to bayside puts them right on myrtle and I'm sure none of these cyclists are familiar with Glendale.
