Sales in New York (real estate, insurance, houses)

Because the city is big, I think there should be all kinds of service and products in demand. Common sales I know are cars, houses, insurance, cell phone, jewlery,make up, other small purchase like vitanmin, phone case,etc. what kind of sales in New York is good in your opinion ?? Do most of sales jobs in New York require a degree or experience??

I sell real estate. I figure that I would rather work very hard to sell something large and make a big commission than work really hard to sell something small and make a small commission. That's what I told a woman selling Mary Kay cosmetics.
