Brooklyn has a more chill vibe while still being a bustling part of the city and being easily accessible to Manhattan. And it's cheaper.

Tourists like different things than residents. Tourists love to go to Times Square, while someone considering actual day-to-day quality of life would not live anywhere near there.

Born and raised in Blooklyn. Bashing Manhattan sounds like sour grapes. What soul? BK lost its soul many years ago, and has seen about 5 turnovers. And keeps turning over.

Being proud of Williamsburg??? Do you fellas even remember W? You bash Iowa farm boys, but its them in W. There is nothing Brooklynite in W. Hell's Kitchen, UES, Soho, Noho, LES, Harlem, Spanish Harlem, the Heights, the Village, etc. There is plenty of middle class in Manhattan still making 300 gees.

You've heard of Hells Kitchen, or Chelsea?

Everybody originally from BK on here reading this.. this is the part where you pump your fist in the air.. Everywhere I go in the world, people know BROOKLYN. Before 2001, they knew Brooklyn and "the city part".. they didn't even know the name of Manhattan. They knew the name Times Square and Empire State BUilding but didn't know the word "Manhattan". Everyone knows BROOKLYN. We give MH props for luxury and shopping though. We respect former enclaves like L.E.S. we Respect Harlem, We respect Soho and the scene, but other than that when it comes to real day to day nitty gritty life.. Manahttan, The Bronx and Queens looks up to Brooklyn. Trust. We have more space than MH, more people, more diversity in people, cultures, environments and landscape. Better pricing. More action, less tight-ass pretentious people, and more unpredictability in the people.. Do your research. Brooklyn forever.

Posts likethis still show jealousy because you moved to Manhattan hyped off of Sex n the City and realized that all the action was in BK

Thread Champ.
