How much does can fare cost from the Sheraton on 811 7th ave and 53rd street to the 911 memorial cost? There will be 5 of us. Do they have sport utility or mini van cabs that could take all of us at once? A person in our party in terrified to take the subway, do that's not an option. I already tried!

So you don't think 5 people can fit into any of the cabs?

Definitely in one of the van cabs. Unfortunately it'll cost you:

Probably $20+tip. You'd most likely have to flag down a minivan taxi in order to fit all of you in one vehicle, unless you have a couple small children or extremely skinny adults. A couple of you could take a taxi with the subway holdout & the rest take the subway - see who gets there first!

would a bus be less scary than a subway? Might be a bus. Slow, but you can get a view.
