Must be nice to have a badge, separate rules for you and everybody else.
across the street from my parents house in queens....the owner (yes he is FDNY) puts up FDNY cones in front of his house to ensure street parking for himself only. no joke
So you got pinched and because of that you're going to bring others down? Be a man.
I don't think BlakeJones is upset about his car being towed as much as his suspicion of the reason his car
was being towed. If the cop neighbor really was the one called in to tow his car to get the spot, then is fair
game to snitch on the cop to reciprocate his move to get back at him. Although things may escalated
quickly if the cop neighbor also retaliate in some other way.
I've been wondering about cars parked with traffic cones on the roof and whether it's related to this. Have seen them on ever type of vehicle and it's happens most often so their obviously personal vehicles...

You'll see that when they need to clear the street, like when ConEd has to dig up the road or a crew is filming the next day. They will put up no parking signs but they don't want to have to deal with towing all those cars. ConEd will actually pay a guy to sit in car all night long and put a cone down every time a car moves. For cars that don't move, often the guy will put the cone on the roof of the car which is what you've seen.
Those zones are actually good for parking - I've gotten into it with those guys several times where the guy tells me I can't park there and I just point to the no parking sign several hours from then and assure him that my car will be gone by then. He doesn't care for my assurance and I don't care for his problem and I just walk away and my car is still there when I get back
I am neither. My friend is a cop and that's what he told me.
Maybe that's what he wants you to think LOL j/k
but seriously--I know a few and they've been able to make them disappear. Maybe they know certain people <shrug>
