Me and the kids are going to parade for the first time what time would you suggest that we arrive...we want to try and have breakfast in the city then go the parade...can somebody let me know..Thanks

7AM isn't unreasonable if you want to be in front. I don't suggest you drink a whole lot for breakfast, because there are NO bathrooms available!

I agree... supposed to be pretty mild (59) bu 50% chance of rain, sorry. Dress appropriately.

I would suggest going up to Central Park West the evening before after 11PM to watch them blow the balloons up, that was always pretty cool.

They blow up the balloons all around the Museum of Natural History - but be warned - it's a mob scene.
