College student who is not rich from what I could gather and your dropping $350 on a belt. lol damn. $350 is book or food money! He definitely should not have been arrested and store and NYPD(as usual) handled it terribly but these young kids gotta wake up with this materialism. GEt your priorities in check.

I can see it. I've eavesdropped on the convos in the buses and trains. These kids will save to buy expensive clothes, shoes, or phones. Never thought they'd do it for a belt though.

I edited the post. I don't think the story is fake at all as people buy expensive crap they don't need all the time.
