Dunno about online dating making some sort of increase in inter racial dating. Last study one read a year or so ago found that AA women were least likely to find mates (white or black) via online dating sites.
All things being said in this interesting thread while interracial marriages/relationships are on the increase in the United States it is not always "black and white" thing.
Among straight and gay couples I see more white/Asian than white/black. The exception seems to be when it comes to AA men and major league sports especially for some reason NFL football. There you seem to find a good number of AA men with white women. Even that new gay AA NFL pick has a white partner. Tiki Barber dumped his first wife who I *think* was Asian or mixed race for a young white college girl.
Do you like any of them? Please let us know how it goes.
Do not wait for a black knight because he may never come. The black guys probably did not contact you because they are looking for women with european features.
Please stop being foolish. Most Black men are married or dating Black women not mix breeds.
For what it's worth, all of my friends who happen to be black, are dating/married to white women. Had a coworker who was highly educated and black tell me that most black men appreciate light women. That some consider white women to be a step up from their own kind and considered to be a trophy or medallion. Her beliefs not mine. Don't know what it would add to this conversation, but I guess it was very interesting.
I can't remember the last time I had a good conversation with a black female. Anytime at work or casually outside trying to speak with a black female I can tell they are not interested in speaking with me and tries to avoid a conversation even someone who is polite you can tell they are not really interested in chatting. However I've had no problems chatting and sharing jokes with a black man.
I just don't understand why most black women are so different, they seem to only prefer speaker to their own ethnicity.

This is well known throughout the AA community. There are many AAs under the belief "red bone", meaning light skinned Black women are more prized. This belief stems from slavery days (remember house slaves lighter in skin tone got to work in the home rather than the field). It was really prominent back in the old days when of heightened racial prejudice, Jim Crow, and early Black films. Lena Horne was fawned over during those days mostly due to skin color. Darker women were casts as servants or maids back then. Many were brainwashed into believing the lighter the better.
Many darker shade AA Black women feel slighted by AA men who seem to lose their mind over a light skin AA Black woman especially when she may not initially appear to be as attractive as her counterpart standing next to her.

Could be any reason.
Point blank, could be they aren't interested in White men, not friendly, not comfortable with the conversation or they want to get some work done.
Or maybe even not attracted to you, the list goes on and you can't group all Black women in one group.
I'll let you in on a little secret, Black people tend to be put off by what seems to be White people's invasiveness. Do you bombard with a lot of questions?
Skin tone has nothing to do with anything. Most of the black men I have met feel the same way.
Most of the female attention I get comes from caucasian and latino women.
Cannot tell you how many women I have met in my area that have never had a conversation
with a black guy. Lot of stereotypes out there about us. Not all of us are ignorant thugs.
Should see the look on some of these women's face when they do talk to a guy like myself that has good sense.
I honestly think there should be more intermingling between different races. Does not have to be dating....but at least people will have the chance to communicate with those outside of their own circle.
Wishful thinking...

I'll let everyone in on another "secret." I have found that people who insist on "White people" and "Black people" - note the silly capitalization - also insist on such absurd and sweeping generalizations.
"... can't group all Black women in one group ..." and then proceed, in the next sentence, to so so.
Someone thus far undaunted by "White people's invasiveness" here.
