Senior citizens are only entitled to SCRIE benefits if they live in regulated apartments.

So, unlike you, I understand there are two sides to a story. If I'm rude or short with someone, it's for good reason.

Seniors can avoid rent increases by filing for SCRIE and meeting certain income and housing limitations,All senior citizens should do so...nothing to lose.

it dose not apply to free market rentals. it basically applys to the controlled stuff.

you have to be at least 62 and household income after deductions has to be under 29k.

What reason do you have to expect a reduction in rent?

congratulations.
at no point.
the LL is NOT supposed to.

your not entitled to it. what would make you think you are?

and if you want to go there, a person renting an apartment in a private house is for added income, the LL does not give a rats ass that you are in your 70's, he is renting out an apartment, not giving out handouts.
Remember in a private house the LL has a mortgage to pay, you think the bank cares that you are 70.

move is you cant afford it.

I hate self entitled people.
