Anyone else having this bad luck. It seems like 7/10 train cars I step on to, a mystery straphanger is playing a tuba symphony steps from my nose. It's very gross and inappropriate. I implore everyone to please stop passing gas on the subway.
Don't mind garlic. People eating those canned sardines on the bus...yuck.
Canned sardines on a bus? I had someone at work that use to bring in canned sardines for lunch. These had to be the foulest smelling canned fish ever packaged. She was told not to stop it. Stunk up the office.

We had someone bring dourian fruit in the branch once. THAT is a horrid stink. It lingered onto the banking floor. I worked in an Asian community and the majority of them run away from it. It's an extremely acquired taste like stinky tofu.
Now I work in one of the backoffice buildings. Last year someone decided to bring in dourian. We had to call facilities because at first no one knew what that stench was until the person fessed up. They were told never to bring it again.
regarding the OP...
As for passing gas, it's not uncontrollable. Some people seem to think that all bodily functions are ok to share with everyone else. Years ago I was on the bus and there was a lady sitting across from me. The man sitting next to her kept farting on her lap. He thought it was no biggie. For some people, farting on others and blowing snot out of your nose without a tissue is acceptable.
