Saw the video. Simply uncalled for unless what the cop did was so terrible it came with a death sentence, which I am doubting. Regardless, the threat (if there was one) was clearly neutralized very early on. I also saw his lawyer claiming the suspect "had no recollection of what happened", as if that is some sort of an excuse.

This is terrible, whether the victim is a cop or not, regardless of race or victim or the accused.
What are the circumstances surrounding this? Was it totally random? Out at 5am, a cop driving a pretty fancy Beamer. Not making any accusations, but curious if there's any funny biz going on here.
