Is it me or does it seem like Manhattan is becoming very young and white? Where are all these folks coming from? The suburbs? Other parts of the country?

I am middle aged and white. I have been here a long time....I see alot of ethnic types when I go out

NYC is a large international city. People come here from other parts of the country, the surrounding suburbs, and even overseas (Europe).

I have noticed very little change in the complexion of Manhattan over the last 30 years and a definite trend towards older,not younger,so no.
