I am thinking about moving to Riverdale, not sure yet. Is it racist there being that I am Puerto Rican? I understand that the majority of the people there are White.

Why would Riverdale be racist? Your making that assumption because the area is majority Caucasian? I'm thinking of moving to East NY, are the blacks and latinos racist?

Lol I am just asking because in the park of Riverdale someone drew a swastika. It came out on the news the other day. Just was curious that's all. Wanted to get an input from the people that know more about the neighborhood.

Swastika found carved in Seton Park field

I get a long with all ethnicity and nationalities.

What neighborhoods are racists in the Bronx, if I may know? I never have encountered racism in the Bronx.

That would be an attack towards Jewish people. BTW The Bronx is at least 90% other then white alone. Another 10 years that # will be in the single digits.

IMO there are un welcoming neighborhoods in the Bronx. Woodlawn is one of them. You don't wanna get caught pants down with a freckled redhead when the watch dogs are back in town after the holidays doing their usual neighborhood rounds. Best to avoid.

Is this an exaggeration or true ? So there is really a neighborhood watch group in that community or a bunch of sinister bullies ? I've read an article about Woodland in the past but never really did further research.

Sinister bullies. Bored drunk kids being kids.

But it's a tight knit homo community and it's clear that they like to remain that way.

LOL, you definitely wouldn't be the token Hispanic face in Riverdale. I know of plenty of Puerto Ricans who live there.

That being said, live wherever you want as long as you can afford it. That's what I do :-)
