NYCHistorygal, what would you do if you were cut off food stamps and you couldn't get your case renewed due to government cuts? Your age and work history don't matter (a lot of people immediately got cut off unemployment in Jan.). There's no need to bring up your past, immigrants, the economy or anything else. How would you personally respond to a potentially disastrous situation?

It doesn't have to be spent anywhere. Out of control gov't spending = $17 TRILLION WITH A T in debt.

Our so called leaders, both parties, need to trim the fat.

Including to themselves, even Darrell Issa who my liberal buds tell me gets millions in subsidies.

The fed gov't health and retirement costs are disproportionate with reality. Who is policing the police??
