Read all about it! DeBlasio throws Doherty under the bus. This is bizarre.

NYC sanitation chief, under fire over snow removal, only temporary: mayor - NY Daily News

From the article:

"Talk about throwing the Sanitation commissioner under the snow plow.

A day after his first deputy mayor had an icy meeting with John Doherty, Mayor de Blasio stressed that his Sanitation czar’s job is temporary — but he’s still getting a paycheck for now".

“We’ve said we asked him to stay on in a transitional capacity,” Hizzoner told reporters about Doherty, who faced criticism from Upper East Siders over the agency’s response to Tuesday’s snowstorm. “We’ve talked about focusing on the snow season and that continues.”

Mr. Roker is a famous *personality* weatherman from one of the major network (ABC) television stations.

In his early days Mr. Roker like everyone else was restricted to evening or otherwise news broadcasts. Now of course he is part of the Good Morning America team and also appears on national ABC news so there you are.

Mr. Roker and his family do live on the UES and judging from published salaries of others he probably isn't short of penny or two.

The Mayor has rather publicly let it be known that Manhattan is to get the shaft on snowplowing. The department of sanitation is only following his wishes.

NBC and The Today Show is where Al Roker works.

Totally was confused, yes NBC/Today Show, but stand by the rest. Must have been seeing him with Sam Champion discussing the cold weather and snow on NBC Nightly news, totally forgetting SC is part of the Weather Channel now.

Still the rest sticks. The family lives on UES and probably is not short of any funds. If Robin William's latest contract is any measure no news "personality" of that level goes wanting.

DeBlasio is crooked just like all politicians. He wants to get rid of the horse drawn carriages so his cronies can scoop up the prime real estate the stables sit on.

So now DeBlasio is throwing someone under the bus because their position is transitional? THIS IS NOT NEW...the sanitation head new this before the storm..why is this throwing someone under the bus? He is putting in his own team, sanitation head included. And he is getting rid of the horse carriages because it is inhumane...this has been a conversation with every Mayor for decades..he is the only one to actually do it.

Any other nonsense conspiracy theories? I hear DeBlasio is trying to sell Manhattan back to the Indians for 2 beaver pelts and a peace pipe. I also heard DeBlasio likes to eat white babies..which is why he is encouraging so many white families to move into Manhattan! And of course, who can forget DeBlasio is in fact a liberal marxist communist fascist dictator whose sole purpose is to unleash the Apocalypse on NYC so he can sell all the souls to hell ( just like Obama!).

Does that about cover it?
