I am conflicted. My first thought was, "typical NY thug", but I think most reporters are weasels, so I really can't care.

He was a weasel for asking about a pending ethics investigation? What a strange thing to say.

Reporters are like paparazzi. No respect.

That doesn't give anyone the right to physically threaten someone. Grimm is in hot water--it's nothing new. Should the reporter have asked him about it instead of the State of the Union address? No, he shouldn't have but that doesn't make it ok to be physically threatened like that. Grimm's response to NY1's demand for an apology was pathetic.

Grimm incriminated himself by that response to the reporter. Why would he threaten to get so violent unless he was scared of exposure? Now the investigators who are investigating him will look that much harder. And this won't help him as he runs for reelection 10 months from now.

Some of us do not feel that ambushing people, and games of "gotcha" by reporters are the way to behave. That reporter could not care less about whatever the question was about. He was only using the fact that the guy would talk to him to foster his own career.

Exactly. They've been looking at him for years (I can't say what I know because it's related to my job) and this just ruined it for him. I don't think he's going to run for re-election to be honest.

That's the reporter's JOB, to ask questions and of course to further his career. Grimm could have simply answered NO COMMENT if he didn't want to answer the question. Instead, he incriminated himself and ruined his reputation as his meltdown went VIRAL.

Classy and real smart. NOT! He's acting like one of those lunatics that abuse steroids. The hormones make them extremely irrational.
