Based on this forecast which did not happen--- people should learn what those of us from New England have known for years about predicting snow storms and that is that any forecast more than 12 hours from the event are nothing but guesses and to be ignored and if it does snow just deal with it by the God Method---- God put it there and God will take it away. Only when it stays for months and months will you really have a problem.

Probably enough though to keep the DSNY from collecting the piles of garbage that keeps building up on the sidewalks. Been 2+ weeks for me since I last saw a garbage truck come down my street.

Myself as well. It's ugly, With the snow-piles a brown color and trash stacked 3 feet high. I saw a truck this morning but only collecting from the main street. Lots of stray cats jumping in the trash hopefully they will keep rodents away at least.

This one is actually the real deal, NYC should get about a foot of snow. It's supposed to start late Wednesday night and snow right up until just past noon Thursday. Around noon is when it'll get above freezing so we may get some rain on top of that, but this is a BIG storm coming, biggest of the year.
