Public Sector unions will destroy New York State.

Free market capitalism will destroy the rest of the country.

You're damned either way. I'll sleep better at night knowing I'm paying my kids teacher enough money to not be poor and deal with 30 children. I'm not getting paid anything to listen to the ramblings of some people on here.

That's a lot to ask from the far left who operates on emotion, not fact - as can be easily seen from the ludicrous responses by a few posters in this thread, such as claims that public workers are entitled to my tax dollars, or that they still deserve substantial raises even though they enjoy benefits like iron-clad job security, or that they have a "right" to form public employee unions.

You just have to wonder how much better off the country would be if all citizens took compulsory economics classes.
