Nobody cares about the old school SI natives. Brooklyn transplants made the rock what it is.

The PJ's in Stapleton are minority. Can't blame the Moderator cut: pejorative term removed and Russians from Brooklyn for that.

You can always tell when a Brooklyn moves to Staten Island.
The first thing they do is pave over ever square inch of front, side and back yard with concrete. This is to provide parking for the four or more cars in a one family home. But wait there is more, next come the traffic cones to block off *their* area on the street since it is *their* house and that parking spot comes with it.
These Brooklyn persons complain that minorities moving into a street drive down property values. Not knowing it is often them that do as natives begin selling and moving to get away.
Haha that is so so Brooklyn. I'm guessing the illegal driveways are next where they take down part of the gate in the front and park two cars with one parked diagonally to fit. Enough room for two more used BMWs.

I hate a Brooklyn-transplant neighbor actually call the cops on me for moving his cones once. Needless to say, the cops weren't amused and he never put them out again.

I thought Bugsy was just kidding about the cones. Who the hell does that in the boros especially coming from Brooklyn. I know that occurs in Boston and some suburbs, but didn't think people would do that on SI. Maybe they're not use to have no alternate side parking where they sit in their car waiting for the cleaning truck to pass. That's usually the only time people actually get to park in front of their homes.
