if you were getting so sick of shoveling and you had the opportunity to garage your car in your apt bldgs lot for a month or two, would you do it until 4/1? (when are we done with the storms usually?)

what's your question?

does it harm the car if you don't move it for 1.5 months?
or
you asking if you should park you car in a garage for free or pay $?

If there is a free opportunity to do so, I think I would do it as one also wouldn't have to deal alternate side parking for that period.

Definitely. I would garage the car to avoid the remainder of winter as digging the car out repeatedly and searching for parking until the spaces are clear from snow is such a hassle.

yes i am considering doing that till 4/1 mgt is going to call me back to discuss. they prefer me to have a separate lease but i don't need the garage on a month to month basis(too expensive).

garaging the car would eliminate shoveling worries (I could get to my cancer treatments and then to work and not have to go by cabs) tho i realize its not going to stop storms or make it any easier to drive in the storms. it would just eliminate the aggravation of wondering what my car is going to look like after a storm as well eliminate the hassle of wondering will i get a spot when i get home

Exactly! It's well worth the money right now for you, since you need to be able to get in the car and go, not having to deal with the extra hassles that the storms are adding to the morning, when dealing with going to treatment, work, and even just regular errands.

Yes I would. Living a relatively low stress life is important to me.

Yeah, I'd garage it. Or if you know someone who could use a car for a month, let them borrow it. Maybe someone you know has a spouse and needs a second car for a month.
