Hey guys, havn't been on post for a while...Sorry to hear all the bad news..what, with the medicals and such. My medical trial is next week, never know what to expect i guess. Salsan definately get retested elsewhere! For anyone who took medical already...do they make you "strip down" and look for scars from past surgeries and wotnot? thanks.
Thanks, but I passed. I thought I failed. They don't check for surgury scars...I had two and told them...It was ok. I wouldn't even mention it if u did....
Hey everyone, I was lucky enough to get a call from the clinic today and I must go back in the morning. They said the doctor wants to speek to me about my blood results and they want me to take another ekg. They couldn't get a good one the first time because I am so damn hairy.LOL. I am worried about the doctor wanting to talk about my bloodwork though. I guess it's better than failing. I hope. Anyone else get called back?
It's probably nothing...I say that because if it was something serious, they wouldn't want you to take another ekg...Think about it. That wouldn't make sense......Right????...So maybe it's something simple...Like anemia...Let us know and I'll pray for you....

Thanks everyone. I hope they dont give me a problem. I'll post after I come back tomorrow and let you guys know.
no nothing about diabetes, but i heard somewhere you cant get a cdl with diabetes, but who knows if thats true. you can check with dmv if it is or not.
My doctor told me this when I took my DOT exam a few months ago. You cannot be a diabetic on needle-injected insulin; diabetes controlled through a diet or oral medication is permitted. That is the rule for CDL's.
Can you get disqualified for having any surgeries within the time frame they ask you? or does it depend?...i had surgery on my leg 1 month ago..it takes 4-6months for it to be 100%..my list #'r is 14xx..i would assume i got plenty of time. thanks
i dont think you can get disqualified...but i would think that if you are healed and fine by the time they call ... u should be good..
Anyone have the phone number to the 44 beaver st clinic?
