That's good to hear. The only thing is, I feel bad for all the people that were excited to be called and didn't make it. I mean if you think about it, they got 100 out of 600....That's a few hundred people who were turned down that I feel bad for....Considering a couple of hundred didn't show up and didn't want it.....
i have a question........... does that mean they just dismissed 500 qualified applicants for no reason? or where they disqualified during the process (failed medical, drug test, cdl)?

they would never disqualify someone for no reason. if you fail your CDL you are deactivated from the list. When you get your CDL on your own you have to call them back up to reinstate your list number. I'm not sure about failing the medical though....I'm assuming if you get disqualified medically for lets say testing positive for drugs that you are disqualified period.

so basically they went through 600 ppl and they couldn't even fill 100 positions?
what are they looking for in the background check?
They wanna make sure you disclosed everything during pre-orientation. If they find something you didn't tell them about they will question you. They also wanna find out if you told them about EVERY violation you received where you found guilty. If you were terminated from a job, they will call that employer up and find out why... If it was for something bad ...it won't be good for you.

All the above, and then some. Remember, only (35 average) show up for orientatationals, then cut n'uther 5 or 6 for non conformity to documentation....you have only 350-375 to work with. Then KNOCK OFF n'uther 30% for meds, cdls, failures, druggs, and who know what else? whats that leave you with 250 or so? MY question is..can you still git cut at final process OR SOON there after?Maybe so...thats why they need more!
Just using logic, I'm not sure they just got 100 from the 632 they originally called. Let's assume that is the case AND there was going to be a July & August class, you would think they would have called in more then just 200 more for pre-employment. I mean if they got BARELY 100 out of 632, then how are they going to get the next 100 (August class) by bringing in another 200. I hope I'm wrong as my number is 53x, but I think they must think the additional 200 they just called in for pre-employment is gonna get them enough for the 100 in July & 100 in August.
Unless they are going to be sending out more letters for pre-employment, but I haven't heard anything like that.
Good Luck to ALL!!!
