This question is probably more for the OTJ guys, but I was curious as to how long you might expect to wait to get a transfer to one of the Staten Island garages? I was guessing 2-3 years. If your in Staten Island do they ultimately want you to work there? Any information anybody has will be helpful.

Sal, my prayers to you and your family.

I was thinking the same. Guys tell you that SI will make you bounch all over the day and not be on study shifts but they tell you that no matter where you go that is going to happenn. I rather bounch all over 15 min from my house then pay the bridge and spend 45min - 1 1/2hrs doing the same.

Thanks all of you guys.......So now, we're expecting a call over the next few days......Sounds kind of exciting that this is finally it. We took the test a year ago, so after all, it didn't seem that long for me. Let's start thinking about training now. How long do we train at fbf? And how long do we train in the garages?

Beleive it or not, I actually graduated so that was one reason why I got it.
