Yep. the new hires probably get the dirtiest hoods...ie;..china town, lower east side and wotnot. I wonder where the "preferred" routes are in the boros??

Garbage time,that is an excellent idea about the forums,we need somebody to set it up and then have mods to prevent spam,etc.

Wreckerman,Queens West 4 is the closest DSNY garage to me,but do all of the sanitation garages have parking for employees?

Crapshu,The preferred routes would have to be in nice quiet areas with mainly private houses. I know that the routes with all bldgs are shorter because the truck fills up quicker. I would prefer to work a residential route with no bldgs,then again I am speaking with no experience.

its impossible to find since i cant get it to show up on a google search.maybe that will keep the spam down?who knows.its like a secret ,man..

ya as far as i know every garage has parking and they all give you a parking permit.

NYPD starting JAN 7, hopefully. All my paper work and background is complete. Med, jst, psych, drug test done. Just waiting for the call now and was told to start expecting it beginning friday

it depends on where you are needed and who you know...
